Website Banner - Jio IPO Allotment 2026 Guidey

The Jio Platforms IPO has investors asking one thing: did I get Jio IPO allotment? The issue was priced at ₹1,065-₹1,119 per share, with an IPO size of ₹30,213 crore. It opened on 21 October and closed on 23 October 2026. According to the indicative timeline, the basis of allotment was finalised on 26 October, refunds and demat credit fall on 27 October, and the Jio IPO listing date is 28 October on BSE and NSE. This guide covers how to check IPO allotment status online, what to do if you haven't received shares, and what to consider before listing day.

How to Check Jio IPO Allotment Status

You can check your Jio IPO allotment status in three ways:

1. Registrar website: Open the IPO registrar's allotment page (KFintech), select Jio Platforms Limited, and enter your PAN, application number or demat details.

2. BSE or NSE website: Select the issue name on the exchange's IPO allotment page and enter your application number and PAN.

3. Broker or UPI app: Most apps show the result under the IPO or Orders section.

Keep your PAN and IPO application number handy.

When Will Jio IPO Shares Be Credited to Demat?

As per the indicative schedule, refund initiation and credit to demat both fall on 27 October 2026. Allotted shares appear in the demat account linked to your application, so check your broker app or your NSDL/CDSL statement. If you applied through UPI, the blocked amount for unallotted shares is released to your account, so check your bank or UPI app for the Jio IPO refund status. These dates are indicative and may change, so confirm with the registrar.

Jio IPO Allotment Not Received: What to Do?

  • Confirm the status first. "Not allotted" is common in widely subscribed issues.
  • Check that your blocked funds were released. This usually happens on or around the refund date.
  • Escalate if needed. If funds remain blocked or allotted shares are not credited after the timeline, contact the registrar or your broker, then your bank. You can also raise a complaint on SEBI's SCORES portal.

Jio IPO Allotment Chances for Retail Investors

Retail investors had 35% of the issue reserved, while QIBs had 50% and NIIs 15%. If the retail category is oversubscribed, shares are allotted by computerised lottery. The minimum bid was one lot of 12 shares (₹12,780-₹13,428). Chances depend on the final subscription level, and no strategy guarantees allotment. Multiple applications on the same PAN are not permitted and may be rejected.

Should You Sell Jio Shares on Listing Day?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Listing day prices can be volatile and cannot be predicted. Your decision should reflect your investment horizon, risk appetite and financial goals. Some investors book listing gains, while others focus on fundamentals. As per the company's disclosures, Jio Platforms reported FY26 revenue of ₹1,46,885 crore and EBITDA of ₹76,255 crore, and served 533.3 million customers as of 30 June 2026. Past performance does not indicate future returns. Consider speaking to a SEBI-registered investment adviser before deciding.

Conclusion

Checking your Jio IPO allotment status takes minutes via the registrar, BSE/NSE or your broker app. Whether or not you were allotted shares, review the demat credit and refund timelines and keep an eye on official communication. All investments are subject to market risk, so make decisions based on your own research and circumstances. Allotment done? Don’t miss what’s next.
